Crafting a Unique Tub-Shower Combo: A Showcase of Innovative Solutions

Innovative Solutions for Clients:

At Hanson Carlen, we love a challenge, especially when it comes to creating custom solutions for our clients. When a client requested a tub that could also serve as a shower, we knew we had to think outside the box. The bathroom's wall configuration in their Spokane home made it impossible to install a standard tub. While angled shower walls are common, an angled tub presented a unique problem.

Benefits of Wedi System:

Luckily, we have long been advocates of the Wedi system, a high-quality waterproofing system from Germany known for its reliability in preventing leaks. Wedi offers a range of components for tubs, steam showers, benches, and other features. Despite the unconventional nature of our request, Wedi was willing to work with us to create a custom tub. However, the cost of manufacturing in Europe and shipping the product to Spokane was very expensive.

Creating Custom Solutions:

Determined to find a solution, we decided to leverage our experience with Wedi components and create our own custom tub-shower combo. The results were nothing short of stunning! Our client now enjoys a beautiful and functional tub-shower that perfectly fits their space and needs.

This project highlights our commitment to innovation and our ability to create unique solutions for our clients. If you're looking for a custom home builder in Spokane who can turn your ideas into reality, Hanson Carlen is here to help. Contact us today to discuss your dream home project!
