Hanson Carlen Wins 2024 Chrysalis Award for The Silo Project

I’m excited to share that Hanson Carlen has been honored with the 2024 Chrysalis Award for our work on The Silo project! We won the Regional Award in the Residential Specialty Item category, and it’s a huge recognition for the hard work and creativity our team put into this one-of-a-kind design.

The Silo was designed by our incredible architect, Janette Hruban, and is a three-story structure that serves as both an office and a panoramic viewing point. It’s filled with custom details like a curved cabinet, a stunning cable railing, stone walls, and wall wash lighting that gives the space a unique and beautiful ambiance. The project took about 18 months to complete, and we couldn’t be prouder of how it turned out.

David Hanson, our president, summed it up perfectly:
“We are thrilled to unveil The Silo and share it with the community. This project required precision, planning, and a lot of dedication. We’re incredibly proud of the outcome, and we believe The Silo will inspire future generations."

This is actually the sixth Chrysalis Award we’ve won in the last thirteen years, which is a testament to our ongoing commitment to excellence. As Ken Kanline, director of the Chrysalis Awards program, put it, “This company has won six Chrysalis Awards in the past thirteen years, demonstrating their ongoing commitment to professionalism and excellence."

We’re looking forward to continuing to push the boundaries of design and construction in our future projects, and The Silo is a great example of what we’re capable of. You can view the award information here.
